Summer Learning Program 2025

Students in grades 5 through 8 who require accelerated instruction based on STAAR scores will be invited to participate. At no cost, participating students will receive a rich hands-on curriculum focused on math and literacy. Students need to bring their District-issued Chromebooks daily.
Free breakfast and lunch are provided daily.

Middle School Emergent Bilingual Summer Learning for Newcomer Students (rising 6th and 9th grade students)

Current 5th and 8th grade students (rising 6th and 9th graders) who are:

  • New to country students, AND
  • First time in US schools between August 2024-May 2025, AND
  • Enrolled and currently attending Round Rock ISD school

are invited to attend to attend the Middle School Summer Learning for Newcomer Students. The course will focus on building vocabulary, increasing understanding of their new school environment, and building social emotional skills. 

Eligible families will receive the application via email by the end of April. Registration will close on June 7, or when all spots are filled.

Bus Transportation

Bus transportation for summer learning is provided before and after AM sessions and PM sessions. Students can be dropped off and picked up at the designated stop locations.
Bus stop information can be found on the Smart Tag Parent App or using the Find Your Route tool on the district website.
School administrators will be supplied with basic bus and stop information.
